Well it depends, are you trying to turn it into a warrior? Personally I always find that a kinda cheap transformation and it doesn't seem like it connects to the line at all.

Well clothes are only really useful if your trying to make it more human and its already got wolf bird and horse in it so things are probably getting crowded. We can't go further into the bird part since that'll come to a griffen which already exists. There are other composite creatures that could work but it'd take some imagination.

Well there are a few but I'm struggling to find one that matches up properly. If we make a slight change to the champion then it could become a powerful force of nature, nothing big just alter the horse based parts to make it a combination of wolf bird and stag.

Sounds interesting, I wonder if the horns should be changed too.
Maybe something closer to an elks antlers?

Probably small antlers to begin with. Gradually it'd grow to some great forest spirit with aspects of wolf, stag and....whatever bird you were thinking. Eagle or owl would probably fit best it depends if you want him to seem more the proud daylight type creature or the wise nocturnal type.

Eagle would probably be the better choice to fit the antlers. It might just be me, but I think the bigger bucks always seem to strut around. lol

I guess so, there are a few creatures that could work with this progressive growth. The Peryton is an amalgamation of bird, deer and carnivore, they're often depicted as pretty viciouse and murderous creatures with a deep natural savagery. Anyway it can keep getting more natural until its a powerful nature spirit.

So, I have my champion, next step is the ultimate...
What could I add...
My original idea was to have it bipedal, but maybe it shouldn't be. Maybe make the front feet with claws, or would that be to much like a griffin?

Well if you were making it nature based you could make it more natural turning parts of it into wood and moss.
