List some of your favorite video games here, and maybe a little bit about why you like them. Note that my list isn't in any particular order. Also note that the consoles in bold are the versions of the game I own, while unbolded are other platforms it was released on that I know of.
And no spoiling the plot of the games guys. Not everyone has played all of your favorites, even though you probably wish they did.
Chrono Trigger (SNES/PSX/NDS) - This is like one of my all-time favorite games. I originally got the PSX version of it packed with FFIV used at an EB Games store(which sadly got brought out by Gamestop). That is like one of the most awesome games ever, and I managed to get addicted to it, though I had to stop playing it for a while once I hit Magus' Fortress since I got stuck there at my first time through the game. I beat it since then, and then proceeded to hit the NG+ mode, and unlock all the other endings. Why do I like this game so much? I'm not really sure. It had a really good soundtrack, and I liked all the time-travel stuff in there(I think this is the reason why I like time-travel stuff so much). I also love the battle system, with the targetting and tech stuff. There is also quite a few scenes in the game that are really funny, and made me laugh at some points. It has a sequel too, though I'm bad, and never actually played the sequel(could never find it used, and now I can't find PSX games where I live). I was obsessed enough with it to later buy the DS version, even though I already owned the PSX version, just because the DS version was portable, AND didn't have the bad load times the PSX one did. I still haven't beat my DS version of it yet though, and haven't had much of a chance to mess with some of the new content there yet.
Final Fantasy VIII(PC/PSX) - Yes, you read that right. That's an 8. I really wasn't that impressed with #7 at all. This particular game brings back a load of nostalgic memories for me, which is probably one reason why it makes the list. I forget the circumstances, but for some reason, my father, sister, and I were in a computer store for some reason, and my sister found the PC version of FFVIII, and got father to buy it for us for some reason(I wish I remembered how old we both were). Except that the desktop we played the game on was slow and laggy. When we first started up that game, the Intro FMV was lagging, and even completely froze a few times. Yea...that computer was fail. This was also our first serious RPG, and FF game, as evidenced by all the stupid mistakes me and my sister made on our files, which I laugh about now. For one thing, we didn't realize you could save on the world map(I don't even think we knew what a world map even was), so we kept on playing until we found a save point, until I somehow accidentally discovered you could save on the map. It was the most hilarious game ever. We only had the first 3 GFs in our file too, because for some reason, the part of the instruction book that said you could Draw GFs from bosses either got skipped from us, or didn't penetrate our brains. And then there was the fact that a lot of the junction system mechanics confused us, and we didn't get that. So we just ended up giving each of our characters a GF, and junctioning commands(since we actually knew how to do that), and then only taught them the abilities we thought would be useful(like Boost, Card, the Refining ones). We had no idea how to junction magic either. I somehow managed to get to the end of the 2nd disk, and lost to the boss there, with my horrid characters. (I don't remember for sure, but I don't think I did any of the optional sidequests on that disk, since I didn't know they existed). That was when I finally checked Gamefaqs, due to getting stuck, and realized that I missed a lot of GFs, and restarted my file. My PC version died, and I brought a PSX version at the nearby mall so I can still play my precious game. I think it's mainly that hilarious memories of what me and my sister did for that game that makes me like it, along with it being my first RPG ever. I like the GF/Junction system too, now that I finally know how to use it properly. This is also one of the few games where i know a lot of its secrets, and obscure facts. Gah...now this post is making me want to play FFVIII, since I haven't played that in a while.
Tales of Symphonia(GCN) - Actually, I was bad, and still have yet to finish this one. I might actually need to start a new file, since I forget exactly what I was even doing in the game. At first, it starts off as what seems like a generic fantasy-esque story, but after a certain point in the game is past, a certain plot twist happens, and things suddenly get a LOT more interesting. Besides the awesomeness plot(which I don't want to spoil), I like the battle system, since it has a rather interesting one. It's been a while since I've played it so I can't remember the exact details, and its a bit hard to explain anyway. The sequel to this game, for the Wii, also expands on this awesome battle system by adding a free-run mode where you can move more freely around the battlefield(at least I think it's called freerun. It's been way too long since I've played both of these).
Yeah, this turned into more of 'My fail play of FF8' than anything about why I like that game. Sorry about that guys...I'll edit more games in if I think of any later that are awesome enough for this list.

Well i really want to say this:
Crono trigger (Snes/DS): Yes, I like the game too Why? Well I like much games with magic and diferent elements and the time stuff makes more fun and I really like the battle sistem, easy and well designed. The fight with the finall boss it was i like more why?...well i can't say too much but the fight it interesting and a little long so it plenty of fun
Secret of Mana (Snes): This is the first RPG I have played and I can say that is the best of all. I already say that I like magic stuff, and this game have a lot of it. There are eight element of Mana: water, earth, wind, fire, light, dark, moon and tree. The main character used a legendary weapon the Sword of Mana, and he have to seal the power of eight seed that contends the Mana, if he can do that the sword can get it max power. But nothing happens how planned so.... I have to say too that this game can be played with 2 players so with a friend it gets much more fun
Secret of Mana 2 (Snes): This is the second part of the game and the storie changes, there isn`t any more seed, now they are stones with beast-gods sealed with them. In this game you can choose the 1 of 6 players to be the main character, and the storie changes a lot because your choise, and the final boss changes too. They are more games of this, but i cound't finish them so i don't write here
Shining force 1,2 (Gens): This game have a classic battle sistem when you move your character and send him to attack the enemines (I can't explain it well) It a game of strategy, you have to chosee the character to attack other and think well what you are doing. I like it for the animation that have, it a little old but looks well for the time. And too, it can be player for 2 players and gets more fun with a friend
Valis I, II, III; IV (Nes, Snes): The main character is a girl named Yuko, she gets the power of a legendary sword called Valis, but this sword she have to save the third world that exists (Human world, Dream land and Dark world). The grafic are a little old but it fun to play it
Megaman X, network, starforce, Zero, XZ, XZ advent (Snes, PC, Gba, DS): Well you sure know about the game, i really like all the games realeased and it really a lots of fun for me Why? Well i like to press buttons fast because it much more fun like that and i like much the feature of climbing walls. Well i think i don`t need to say more so i stop here
if you're going to play with fire perpare to get burnt

Digimon world X,2,3,card battle, story, dusk, and dawn, are my favorite digimon games, in them you have to train you digimon and digivole them to mega, there are some boss, missions you have to beat them.
Final Fantasy VIII:((psx) would have to be on of my favorite game cuz it had good graphics for it's time. it is basically a love story Rpg where you travel across the world and and battle evil creatures along the way ((i still have this game))
Dragon Quest 9, DS, its really long, and the battles are just awesome
I got this about a month ago for a christmas present, and I have to say that game is awesome(except I've been too busy to play it much lately.)
I also got Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs then too. First Ranger game I ever played, and it's awesome. Main story's too easy, but past missions solo give me a challenge.
Only bad thing is I only have 1 DS, so I have 3 pokemon I could transfer to my DS games, but can't due to lack of 2nd DS.

I hope it's not a sin to say I am a big pokemon fan. I also like zelda games. One of my favourite games is Okami, where you play as a wolf god. I have it on the Wii.

The only Zelda game I ever got a good amount through was Wind Waker...I have OoT on the gamecube, along with Master Quest, but I believe I'm still stuck on this one dungeon near the very beginning of the game, because I fail at action games like that one. >_>. I don't own Majora's Mask at all, but the concept of that game does intrigue me.
Maybe I'll go back to it later. I can't play my SNES, or N64 right now, because my sister borrowed my SNES, and didn't give it back yet(and the SNES, N64, and GCN share an AV Cord), but I can play that on my wii.

Dragon Age Origins: Its one of the best fantasy world games I've ever played and the characters are expertly done. The world is vast and well thought out and the combat works well enough for it to all flow and allow both planning and fast paced excitment. The additional chapters available for it also give it alot of intrest and provide all manners of extra entertainment.
Shadow Hearts Covenant: Again brilliantly done characters and enough free roaming and side quests to add alot of fun. An origional combat system and a large list of abilities and enemies keeps everything intresting and keeps the story flowing and remain intresting for every second.
Fallout 3: A large amount of cusomisation and complete freedom to run around and act however you want without spoiling the story or making things too difficult or complex. Its also got enough humor and violence to keep anyone entertained.
in the darkest hour the light of hope will peirce through even the most tainted hearts.
