Greetings Tamers! My identity isn't important... I just came from another dimension, searching for some ...fun, you could say. I just noticed that you are having a nice little event… but, what have we here? You don't even have a battling event! How is that possible?! How can you celebrate if you don't have a proper friendly battle?!…I should do you all a favour and give you the chance to do so.
I will be organizing a tournament. There will be some nice prizes to win, but since the arenas in DDC cannot support my epic tourney, I have brought with me a suitable arena from my home world.
And no, it's not free! Do you have an idea of how much energy I have to use to teleport you all there? And to organize the stuff for this? That stuff is expensive! You each have to pay 75 bits to enter, and do NOT complain about this because that is a very generous offer. That is a really, really, really small fee, so I don't want to see anyone complaining. I don't care what you have to say, just take a sheet of paper from that table, fill in your info and leave it along with the bits in that urn, and you will be transported to my world once everyone is ready. If you need to know the rules, just take a look at this document here...
He throws a bunch of papers into the air. You catch one of them and start reading through the rules for the tournament.
1- Once you fill in your information and pay the entry fee of 75 bits, you will be ready to enter the tournament. You just need to be present at the arena when your turn comes.
2- You will be using one and just one Digimon for this tourney, which you are to decide on when you sign up. No changes can be done during battle. When you're inside the arena, your Digimon's stats will be changed to that of a level 15 Digimon, regardless of their current standing.
3- All participants will battle at the same time. You are free to choose how to attack, how to save energy and most importantly, who will you attack first. Not when, that's my job.
4- In order to attack someone, you will have to state within your post the attack and the objective of your attack (both the user and Digimon). You are free to use the spoiler tags if you so choose.
5- This tournament will be done similarly to an RP. We need something more than ''Attack with X move'', so please make more imaginative posts. If you fail in doing so at any point, you will be disqualified.
6- When the number of participants is reduced to three, the battle will be halted for a few hours until preparations are ready. Those three will battle in a second round, with the Digimon increased to level 18. HP and AP will also be restored.
7- You will lose when your Digimon faints, as usual. However, you are able to continue posting even after your Digimon faints; just act like the audience or support, but you are not allowed to harass other players or you will lose the privilege to participate in the future.
8- And for the most important part ...the PRIZES! They will be announced during the second round of the tourney, but I will spoil a little prize for you. the two best at roleplaying will gain extra points and other items of their choice (which will be determined by voting).
9- SPECIAL RULE FOR THIS EVENT ONLY: Since this is happening in another time and space, you are able to participate in this regardless of what you or your Digimon are doing at the moment, including other battles!
You think for a second; this paper couldn't be written by that dragon... it sounds way nicer than that guy. Maybe someone else wrote it? At least you know what you need. You approach the table, finding the registration form:
Username:
Digimon:
What you expect from this tourney:
What you would prefer as a prize:
Do you want more events like this?
You wonder if that's all they got for you. But then, you notice a small note behind the sign-up desk, written with dark red text...
