Heya, heya, come here, reunite once again, for the Barian Tourney 2nd Round start.
We have had some problems during the tourney, ones were our fault, a few others were a disgrace, but we are here and the 2nd Round will be held!
Here are the pairings for the 2nd Round:
Oh wait, Dragon Tamer doesn't have a pairing, does he?
He doesn't, but King already planned something in case this happens.
''Yep, that's true'', I say, as I enter into the dome. ''Pretty much easy to solve. We need a knockout! You will fight me, DragonTamer. If you win, you pass to the finals along the other two participants and we will enjoy an interesting three-way duel. If you lose, though, you will be out of the tourney and the final will be a one vs one duel, so it pretty much depends on you if we will have a normal or three-way battle., I say and then I walk a little bit around the dome before adding: ''I hope you don't mind, but it's the only way I can think off to solve this and it's fun and interesting, isn't it?''
Well, with that solved, let's review a few rules that changed since the last round
Rules that have changed
>>Ultimate Digimon are harder to Summon. You need both the Ultimate Card and the Ritual Spell Card in your hand, also you need to pay tributes equivalent to the level of the card from your side of the field or your hand. The levels are: Ultimate = 3, Champion = 2, Rookie = 1.5, In-Training = 1, so two Rookies are enough for a tribute.
>>Decks are now limited to a max amount of 80 cards. They still have the minimum of 40 cards, though.
>>Premade decks are now banned from use, you'll have to get a custom deck for yourself for this round.
>>We have a new list of cards for you to use! Please check your PM in the next couple of hours for more information.
>>You can now a select a partner digimon along the Digimon cards you choose! Just choose a particular line you want. If you draw a card of the line during the duel, the ATK and DEF power will be the strongest possible (640 for In-training, 1320 for Rookie, 2000 for Champion and 2680 for Ultimate), so you should totally choose a partner! Remember that is not necessary to choose the partner Digimon you chose when you entered into the site, you can pretty much choose any line as long as you properly specify it (like Koromon>Agumon>Greymon>MetalGreymon and not just something like ''Koromon'').
Everything else is pretty much the same as the previous round, King will PM you with your hand and such and you have to PM him back when you place a face-down card, so please, don't forget to PM with the card's information.
King will send you a message with the instructions for the new decks and a new list of cards soon, so don't worry. Also, PM King if you have a problem while constructing the deck or if you need to ask him to delay the round a little bit. He knows we are close to an important date on the calendar, so he will understand!
