The DDC is an addictive Digimon forum game where you can choose your own Digimon partner. Battle with it in one of our exploration areas to level it up, gain new attacks, and then Digivolve them to stronger levels. You can also catch other Digimon to build up your team, or save up your bits to create your own custom Digimon, known as Fanmon. Everything is manually done here. We have many friendly helpers ready to help you out with your battles!
So I was just casually browsing some of the older posts (like 2-3 years old) here on the forum and I just got to thinking about the different stages of my own life that I was progressing through at the time I made different posts here on DDC. I could probably make a timeline of the past 3 years of my life at each significant milestone by looking at the posts I've made here. x3 Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you have thought about that or something similar. Not everyone is incredibly conscious of their own personal timeline, but there are people that are borderline obsessed with plotting out their past events (like me x3). Is that the case for any of you guys?
First off, no, I am not borderline obsessed with plotting my past, except perhaps a few past things with my little dragon girl, but I do feel something about it. I could also take a look at my older posts over here and say what was going on my life back then.
It helps a bunch the fact I started as a normal user like anyone of us and I slowly, yet steadily, climbed my way towards the staff and end being as the Head Admin over here. I remember what I felt like in each stage both inside the forum and on my own life.
It's actually pretty interesting to talk about this things. Thinking about the past, about the things we have done and the things we have managed to achieve...yeah, that's something only humans can do, and it's a pretty nice experience. You just need to halt your feet for a second and look on the road you have left behind and think, think and think...
Yeah, it's cool knowing that I knew you before you became Head Honcho. ^^ Admittedly, you appeared to be quite dedicated to DDC even then. It kind of makes me sad that I wasn't as willing to put more of my time into here back then. I feel like I kind of missed out. :/ But anyways, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that places importance on past personal events.

I definitely think about the many stages of my own life. I never really knew myself, so my entire self was the main character I was using at that time, or perhaps multiple of those characters. So I suppose the different "phases" of my own life could be divided simply by name.
ShadowMrk: Head Honcho....had never heard that word before XD. But eh, thanks for mentioning it. I had always wanted the best for the site, to make fun and entertaining for all of you guys. And don't worry about that Shadow, past is past, you can always change that now if you want to, but don't feel sad about ignoring a little site that was still on its growing phases, heh.
IcestarRiver: Well, I have roleplayed with you a bunch, so I know most of those characters and their names. It's quite interesting to know they were so much related to you. I could notice the difference between one and another. Does that mean I am close to know you for real, uh? But yeah, it's a interesting way to see it.
I just feel like that's the role you've taken on here on DDC. You and DarkCat do a really great job at keeping things here going, so it's a fitting title for the both of you. x3 That reminds me, I need to roleplay soon. D: I've been on withdrawal and it's killing meeeee....
One reason I really like Proboards V5 right now is that there's no 100 message PM Max. I hate deleting private messages, even though some may be about events a long time ago. A good many of pm's I've got are conversations with friends... some from members who aren't active or here today. And just from my posts, I get a look on how I was when I was younger. I mean, my language was different, and the number of smilies and emoticons I used was different. It's both funny and nostalgic! Of course, during periods of absence, I can't plot anything for my life, but I know what was happening during those moments of silence and offline-ness. Nevertheless, I like going through my old posts.

Hey guys, I will make use of this thread to make an announcement. I had always wanted to preserve some of the most important battles around here, you know. I had this ''Tourney Replies'' board I had been using to store my old tournaments, but now that we have this thread and all, I would like to change this around.
Now there is a board called ''Epic Battle Replays'' found in the Arena zone, there you can not only see my tournaments but other few important battles we want to preserve. If one of your battles or posts is too important and nostalgic for you, you can ask me to move it there, so we can all preserve the important battles and take a look at them when we have the time and just feel like it.
For the staff, you have the powers to move around threads, so with this simple act I am giving you authorization to move important battles and such to the Epic Battle Replays board in order to preserve them. But just battles, eh! Anything different than battles should be taken to me, I don't want you moving things that shouldn't be moved.
This is like the best chance to look into the Battle Archives we have and move a few of the old important ones, such as Lunar's Epic Quest for the Brain and some of Durgon's Fun Battles as well, those should be on public for everyone to see and laugh at, really! Eh, you could even move a few of your own battles if you wish. I would do it myself, but I have some other issues I have to take care of, like the next events for the site and such.
Oh cool. I like the idea of that. Of course, I'm able to view all the battles that have ever occurred on here, so it doesn't affect me much. The fact that any one who isn't staff also gets to request/view past battles is awesome though.
bluebomb: just got a new laptop for the first time in a while and synced my old account and found this bookmarked and literally had to check it out again for old times sake... dunno if anyone will see this but if you do, Merry Christmas, wishing y'all the best
