Hey guys! Here we are for a brand new announcement! Please be aware that no fools will be tricked when reading this long thread.
This time we would like to announce a few special updates!
First off, the Rules thread has just been updated. You know...that little permanent visible thread that you were meant to read just when you joined here...don't feign you don't know, cause I know you have read it! But anyways, we have decided to finish Impmon's reign of terror on that thread and put our own partners to protect our dear rules. Not only that, but the rules have also have been modified, edited and replaced. I would advise you to take a little peek at it at least, not that I will ban you for breaking one of those rules, but it wouldn't hurt to read them just to stay on my good side, you know.
Second, we have a big update that affects battles. We are adding four new status alteration effects into the mix to make things much more interesting and varied. Let's take a quick look at them:
>> Bleeding - Success Chance: 1/3. Once a Digimon is affected by this status effect, it will lose health each turn by 1/3 of the damage it received from the attack that dealt the status effect. This effect lasts three turns and heals automatically after the 3rd hit is calcucated. Any healing effect can remove Bleeding on the affected Digimon.
>> Severe Bleeding - This is a special status effect that appears when a Digimon is affected by a second Bleeding effect when it already has a Bleeding or another Severe Bleeding active. The damage it deals is a combination of all the Bleeding effects, note that it can be stocked up as many times as possible. It lasts three turns, and resets back to three each time a new Bleeding effect is added. Only healing that restores more than a half of the Digimon's HP can remove this effect early.
>> Demotivation - Success Chance: 1/2. Once a Digimon is affected by this status effect, it will not be able to use any skills from its current Stage. Each turn the Digimon has this effect, there is a 1/2 chance that it will recover.
>> Dishearten - This is a special status effect that appears when a Digimon is hit by a second Demotivation effect when it already has Demotivation. Digimon who suffer this status effect will not be able to attack or hurt one of the opponent Digimon at random and they will also have their current Stage attacks locked. The affected Digimon may return to normal if one of the opponent Digimon is defeated.
Quite the pair of interesting effects, aren't they? Well, there is no better way of releasing them than actually testing them in battle! But how could you test them in battle if they are that new, you ask? Well, simple, you just need to take hold of a few special weapons. What weapons? Oh come on, can't you guess it already? I will tell you a few clues: they are pink with a little bit of red, they are powerful, they are rare and they certainly have a bunch of hearts on them....
Oh yes! The Heart Exchange Land Shop! Come here, please! You will find all sort of special items that you are not going to obtain anywhere else. Come on, get some assistance with Lilamon and get hold of some nice rare items! For those who are interested in DigiXros and Friendships, take a closer look at it, because there are two rare rings that were specially designed for those and won't be obtainable anywhere else!
And seeing that there are a bunch of Special Moves going around the site by now, and more with this little shop, let me create a little List of the Current Special Powers, so you can check it often and be aware of what each move does and how could you obtain it. Take a look at it often, because I am going to keep it updated with the new items I constantly add! I will probably announce when I add something new, but still, doesn't hurt to check, does it?
Oh and I am not done! I also brought a new Weapon Master to the site. GrapLeomon has just build a little dojo in the Training Center and he is here to stay. He is in charge of everything that relates to Weapons, from a little explanation on how they work, to a little system of Grades you can use to improve your skills with them. I don't want to ruin him his fun, so go ahead and ask him about it all, I am sure he will be glad to reply!
And well, that's pretty much everything. Sorry if you were looking for a code here as I am not giving any this time, but eh...with this many updates, you can't complain, now can you?
It would be nice if you could share your thoughts with me about all of this since it took a long long long week to organize it all, not to mention all the previous thought. I hope you guys like it, because I did it specially for you to have fun.
So well, enjoy and have fun guys! That's what we are here for.
