Hey guys! I have news about this year Christmas. You know how each year the Bitter Fjord is blessed with the magic of Christmas, friendship and companionship? Well this year doesn't seem to be any different as different lights come out the zone, shining brightly. The zone has suddenly grown heavier with a bunch of new sort of codes and data we are still trying to analyze to decipher. Due to this we have had to move the Bitter Fjord to it's own space as the Server Exploration Map is unable to hold it along the other zones. I won't bore you with the details, instead let's move to what concerns you.
It seems a group of Wild Digimon has prepared and ambush for our dear SantaAgumon. Thankfully, his troopers managed to capture one of the group who admitted part of their plans. It seems they have prepared a sort of army and have most of the Bitter Fjord besieged and under their control. Their intention is obviously to steal SantaAgumon's gifts as usual. Shikamon and his brothers came to warn us and we made sure to ask SantaAgumon if he could delay his visit till actual Christmas and he agreed.
In the mean time, our task is to build a base at the Bitter Fjord. You see SantaAgumon, as a magical begin who exists separated from our server, can't enter our main server and requires the Bitter Fjord to land. So we are all moving to the Bitter Fjord to build a base with secure measurements and a safe place for SantaAgumon to land. We invite you all to participate as we need your help! Please come! we have to protect our own gifts! The reward is the objective of this! Let's all protect our gifts! Please move to the Besieged Bitter Fjord.
Okay dokey guys, it's time. I am trying out several things at once at here so let's see how it develops.
This time I decided to try out a system of quests for this event which follows the format of our normal quests. Each person will be able to choose one and just one (Well okay, one plus the Special Exception one) of the quests to fulfill and depending on the quest you will be taken to do different things and involve in different situations along the other users that choose that quest (though you may leave a quest and join another one any time).
I saw you guys were kind of struggling to decide what to do in the event and didn't seem to like how the others were choosing the same objective, so instead I thought that an event quest system could be much better and easier. This way you will be able to not only choose your kind of challenge, but also team-up with others tamers at your own will without us having to force you into teams. That's the fun of it, after all, to be spontaneous! It's also a good way to give unity to the event because the result of each quest will alter the global outcome of the event, so eh, I hope you do enjoy it.
Please do leave your comments about it, both before and after you try it out, to see how you see it, if you like it, if it was not as good...we need to know in order to prepare better events for the future! And eh, this event quest system is new, so I have to know if you like it or not. If you would prefer the traditional less structured ones (like Balance Event), the linear straight ones (like Dantemon and Former Christmas Events), the ones that include temporary changes with the system (like Valentines and Pixi, Pi) or well, this quest system that we are trying out now.
