Hello everyone! It has been some time since our last update here, but we wanted to let you now what we've been up to lately. We're kind of at that weird point in time where everyone's become more busy, yes, but know that we aren't dead! And we've got a little update here for you guys.

Shops Restocked
It's been a little while since the last restock, but new items have finally replaced the old ones in the shops! If you see something interesting, don't forget to purchase it sometime before next month!

Balance Event & Christmas Event
These events are still going on right now. They're not dead. Which is very important here! So if you haven't yet posted where you're supposed to within these events, it will be a good idea to do that when you have time. c:

I understand there may be some frustrations involved with how long these events have been going on, which we are aware of. And while it would certainly be nice to lift the restriction we currently have on new battles being made, for those currently participating in the Balance Event. We unfortunately cannot do this at this time.

We do have good reason for choosing not to do this. First, it has to do with the timing here. Because some of us have other responsibilities and priorities to take care of, which sometimes need to come first, there wouldn't be quite as much time available to dedicate towards these new battles specifically. (Especially when King and Andrei are doing their best to manage the events, it would be difficult for them to update battles at the same time.) Thus the potential workload this would create for our Helpers would't be good, nor even fair to put so much on their shoulders.

The second thing is more of a major concern for us. It is that we don't want the events to suddenly die. This has happened before in the past, and wasn't a very good experience. If we allowed new battles to be made again, there is always the chance that it will no longer get the attention it deserves. Which we don't want to happen, because a lot of effort has gone into these events.

In regards to how fast the events are going, as it has been some time now since they were started. I wanted to explain a little bit about one detail that I feel is crucial, which is the replies. You see, the replies we get from our participants are very vital for these events. As it depends primarily on how quickly our NPCs get these replies. If there are no replies for them to work with, then they cannot get their updates done, sadly. It isn't good, because it makes the event feel slower than it really is.

The final thing that is just as important, is that the time spent on the event will not go unrewarded.

Yes. Rewards!

You may, or may not, know this already. But we have planned already to give everyone the lovely reward that they deserve, as thank you for participating in the event and being patient with us. I've already decided to let King handle telling you a little more about these rewards (in his following post), which we hope you guys will very much enjoy once it's time to receive them. ^^

Bookmarking

This is actually more of a helpful tip, rather than an update. 'xD

Did you know you can bookmark threads on the forum? I actually find this little feature to be handy to keep track of all important threads that I need to keep an eye on. And everyone else can use it as well to keep track of threads they think are important too! All you have to do is click the 'Actions' dropdown next to the search when viewing a thread, and select 'Bookmark'.

Once you've done that, you'll have access to the 'Bookmarks' link in the navigation at the top to check those threads! Plus whenever a thread you've bookmarked gets a reply, a small bubble will show up above the bookmarks button in the navigation to let you know! Handy, right? ^^

What Next?

Despite our time constraints, we're very much hard at work to do our very best to provide you with all sorts of new stuff in the future. There are some things in the works, but... We can't say what exactly yet! (Because that would be a huge spoiler. =p ) It seemed like a good idea though to let you all know what we're possibly up to though!

Yes yes yeah, my turn now. I am switching in to my more hyper active dragon mode to share this with you guys.

Rewards, rewards, uhm? We have been talking about them for a while, but we haven't show much, have we? Well with Andrei we have everything planned and organized, we just know exactly what reward each of the participants of the event will get. I am not going to spoil all the rewards, if not it wouldn't be as interesting, but I figured out that I might share a bit more, just to catch your attention once again and see if I can make you interested. Plus pfftt, not like I am not enjoying typing this down, so eh.

What are the so called rewards then? Well, the same gifts you are wielding since the start! You will get to keep them if you succeed in the event, but be aware that there is more about those that you have yet realized. They all hide their own power and potential and the fun of it is to discover and get it, so it truly belongs to each and all of you. The gifts are made for you, and as such, only you might find the way. But allow me to give a helping hand or two. Let's see, The gifts from the creator.

Shiroki - The Sword of Morning Light.

A beautiful sword made totally of pure gold, its details magnificent, with flowers made of silver coiling over the base of the sharp edge of the sword. A gift not meant as a weapon, this sword can currently purge status alignment and heal a friend in need, but if the wielder manages to encounter its true potential by saving an ally and using its power for greater good, then the flower will bloom and the sword will bring light to the battle, shining with powers both to repeal and to heal. What has to be done? Use it's power, it's not meant to stay on the back doing little more than gathering dust, it must shine and guide the others to victory. Sun and hope will shine strong.

DramonFire - The Sword of the Hero.

An enchanted sword with a black sharp blade that at first sight seems kind of dull, but once you take a closer look you can see different inscriptions made of the purest gold, images of a war and a man that stands over all, bringing peace instead of death. A powerful weapon that allows the wielder to interrupt certain canalizations, but it must find its true potential in order to give its wielder the power to stand in the middle of all and get all the glory that is required. What has to be done? Well it's important to find its balance, it's important to find peace and be calmed even in the worst situations, it's important to find oneself before helping others. Those strikes shall never kill.

Tehrag - The Staff of Faith.

A staff made of the purest and whitest oak wood, an unnatural material that seems to bend light around it as it releases a calm feeling, something meant to keep darkness at bay. A gift meant to a sort of druid, someone who can keep its allies from being hurt but at the same time making sure to purge the darkness out of the land. It gives the wielder the power to unleash natural auras and strikes that cross through the thickest walls of armor, and when its true potential is discovered, it will be able to dominate that power and use it at will to extend its control and energy around. What has to be done? Use its power, learn how, imagine what uses you could put it, give it a meaning, have faith on it. Let the nature unleash its wrath.

Yeti576 - The Staff of Retribution.

A simple and dull branch made of a special certain tree that still holds some of its leaves. It unleashes a gently and kind smell around, giving those that love nature the idea that they are at home, safe. A powerful gift that has the potential to save and protect lives. It returns what it gives, it heals and under its true form, it might even be able to resurrect and rise fallen comrades. What has to be done? Its power has to be used to save, it requires to be taken to the field, wield it with pride, that's just what the original wielder would like to see. Retribute and bring back those that need you.

devoid - The Bloody Knife.

A short sharp weapon with a crimson like blade that unleashes a sort of evil aura. It seems to be hungry and the energy it unleashes makes it seem like it wants to sate said hunger. It's true potential lies on letting it get feed to use its power to ignore some protection and get pass the first shields. What has to be done? You need to sate is need and you have to use effectively on battle, there is little else to do after losing so many chances. Its stroke is deadly.

Nero - The Glass Shield.

A beautiful shield made of a very clear glass, its surface soft and cold to the touch. A very powerful magic seems to protect it from breaking as no matter what the glass does even crack. For now it only holds charges to halve the damage taken by an ally, and it only raises the defense of its wielder. Its true potential, however, goes far beyond that. The wielder is meant to become a powerful squire and a future knight with great mobility that can truly shield others from damage while gathering some of its own. What has to be done? It seems the magic it requires it's incomplete, though it seems to be absorbing power from both the light and the darkness. Let quickness be a matter of attitude.

andrei - The Urumi that lacks a name.

A deadly and very complicated-to-master urumi, a curling blade that looks like a ribbon, which wields some different and foreign inscriptions that seem to be written in a very ancient language. This gift is the only one whose meaning and power can be determined by its wielder, since it's a normal-made item that has received a powerful and unknown enchantment. The current path that has been taken will guide it to the land of nightmares, but it shall not be one, it will be able to consume dark dreams and energies and greatly damage those that fall on its dance, along the song the metal blades make when being swing properly. What has to be done? Choices, choices are important, but there is something that is even more important. Decision. Let's eat nightmares through our dance.

Dragon Tamer - The Judge's Blade.

A nice brownish sword with a very sharp and small blade that releases a powerful and mystique blue light around, enticing dreams and desires a like. It's currently a simple sharp weapon like most, but it's true potential lies in the dreams. Once the wielder finds it and realizes of the powers dreams truly have, the gift will gain the power to bend reality and create alternative worlds. It will be able to send foes and friends to a different space, separating the field into two at its wielder's desire. Images and ideas can then be used as a weapon as much as the sword itself. What has to be done? Show your dreamer side, be yourself and unleash that creativeness for the others to see. Let's divide reality through our dreams.

Aveyasha - The Shield of the Night

A black huge dark shield quite sturdy and large, but yet light enough to be carried, its polished edges covered with thick gold lines meant to halt the swings if sharp weapons. It's currently the only gift meant to heal those that are touched by the darkness. It's true potential lies in its healing and protection, as it will be able to cover the wielder from damage and let it hide in the shadows while it heals and keeps its allies alive and strong. What has to be done? The wielder must show its lack of selfish interest to others and prove it to the shield. The night is not just for any.

Kalin Scarlet - The Dagger of Bonds

A dagger with a very blunt side that it seems unable to cut through anything solid, though the spells imbued on it allow it to cut through links and unions that are sort of ethereal, even friendship bonds themselves. Right now it only works to cut through simple boosts, but its true potential lies in its ability to isolate a foe from its comrades, banning the other from giving it any kind of strength, boosts and friendship powers both nullified by it, and then making use of the isolation to terminate with it. What has to be done? The weapon must be used, it requires to feed on the bonds it shatters and become stronger while making others weaker. Your bond is nothing to us.

Rika Kojitsu - The Dual Spear

A large wooden spear black as the night that holds very long and deadly blades at each end, the sharp edge bending a bit as it ends on a very sharp point, the metal of the blades shining silver like. Right now it only increases speed and power like most spears, allowing the user to circle the weapon around to strike several enemies, but its true potential goes far beyond that. If mastered, it can let the wielder dominate styles that keep most enemies at bay, preventing them from approaching while focusing on a single target, receive damage only of the foe is dueling against. What has to be done? An important foe must be taken down, the style must be dominated and for that the spear needs to be used and used with the heart and soul. Duel me, for my style will pierce through your defenses.

Vallsamon - The Assassin's Blades.

Two sets of long curved crimson red knives hidden in black sheaths. All of them emanate a cold feeling around. As a sharp weapon it can let the opponent bleed while making sure to hit it for some damage, but under their true form, the blades will be able to deal massive damage, to lower the opponent reserves of energy, to heal and to pierce through the thickest armor, though at the cost of only being able to focus on a single foe, for assassins are meant to tackle down their objective fast and cleanly. What has to be done? The secret of it has sort of been discovered but the pieces must now reunite. Only then the true form will be revealed. Stand proud, for this are your last seconds of existence.

DarkCat - The Bell of Eternity.

A golden necklace that holds a shiny star-shaped blue diamond in the center, almost like a medallion that holds some marks within. The diamond seems to hold a special kind of magic that releases a nice tingle like a bell would when it is moved, the tones varying depending on how the wielder uses it. Right now it can play a melody to soothe and calm minds. Its true potential lies deep within the precious gem and the different tones and melodies it can play, causing different effects all across the field with the capacity to keep allies relaxed and enemies mad and crazy. What has to be done? It seems the challenge is divided in three parts. Other success is the wielder's success, for this item is meant for a guardian that looks over others. Let the melody reach your heart.

Kingmana - Rash'kanor, the Sword that Devours the Evil

A heavy and large claymore with a golden sphere held by red nerves of metal, a crimson red hilt of one and half piece, a big golden forearm with some designs marked on red and a very long double-edged blade that ends in a very sharp deadly point. The blade holds a tone of red that gives it the apparency of dried blood. A very powerful and selfless warrior had sacrificed itself to give this weapon the power to feed on the darkness of the enemies's hearts, a weapon made to devour profane energies. The gift has found its owner and now it belongs to him and adapts to his powers. Now that it has been completely unleashed, Rash'kanor's blade ignites with powerful magical flames that extend its length and unleash a powerful flame aura that relates to the wielder's power. The weapon holds the power to unleash a massive strike to smash all zones and feed on the energy that comes from it while also extending a powerful aura that vanishes obscure protective spells. Like a dragon knight, the more enemies they are, the strongest I get!
