Okay, I need to be honest with you guys.
I haven't been feeling like updating the site in a long long while. You might have noticed, but the fact is that I just couldn't sit to type stuff here. I wanted my own rest and relaxing, I wanted just to do something different for myself and the problem was that days weren't long enough for me to do what I wanted along checking the site. It has nothing to do with life duties and such, I already started college again and I am here typing this (which you will soon know what it's about after my little apologize sort of usual rambling uh), so that has nothing to do with it. I just wanted to have fun on my own and there was just not enough time for everything. I needed my holidays and I have to say that this matter has been nailing me the whole time. Just knowing I was making you guys wait so much for everything and I wasn't checking stuff...the problem is that I just couldn't because I knew I had to do so many things around here. Updating this, the events, the normal threads, checking what you guys are talking about (since I do like to check the whole site to read every single post you guys type, that's the fun of being in a forum after all, I just beg you don't make me take the actual admin role to interfere in a sort of mess uh, but meh). But all of that is hopefully done. I am going to take a compromise and I do hope I can live up for it.
Let's leave that aside and focus on the actual announcement. I have come to a decision about battles and event, part taking in account my own fault here, part in your constant requests and the overall desire of you guys. I won't beat around the bush any longer and just plain say it. I am going to re open Normal Battles for everyone around, so every single tamer around can actually train their Digimon once again. It won't matter if you are participating in an event already, it won't matter if you are in both, you will be able to also go out and explore to take wild digimon or perform the known missions. Leave the stats and level stuff for the event organizers to handle, but you all can now battle freely (well not fully free, you know the single battle thing still applies, uh, that's obvious enough, isn't it?). I am just going to request you guys not to abuse it. I want to let you guys have fun while we try to finish the events nicely, but don't start completing battles in a single day or start a post rampage of some sort.
What about the events then, you might ask. Well as long as you still want to participate in them I have all the intention to complete them just as they are intended to be and I take the compromise to update them more often from now on. Everyone who has participated so far will receive it's reward and the ones that reach the end will of course receive the much better ones that waits them. Balance Event is actual two mayor arcs from finishing, the showdowns for both teams and the final I-hope-to-be amazing final fight. Christmas, my little spin off to test a new system for the site, will also have it's own end and rewards, but I'll try to give it less priority if I might, I get the feelings you don't like them that much and darn making all the calcs myself is hard, eh.
So that's about it. Let me check my list....hmm I apologized yes..I told you guys about the battles.....hmm, compromised myself to update things....yep that too. I guess that's all then. Time to improvise!
I want to take this chance to thank you all for your patient and well your whole presence here this many years we have been on. It's so fun to be here, you guys amuse me so much...and make me work a lot more as well, but pleasure can only feel good among a little bit of work as usual, so eh, I guess that's it. I am happy to be here and well let's have some fun.
If you have any suggestions, comments and such that you want to share, just type them down here! Knowing you guys, hah, I imagine you will still, but I also want to hear your thoughts about the events so far, how can we improve them, what would you like to see as an ending, I don't know, want to help us a bit to make it epic, eh? It's going to be a surprise, but it wouldn't hurt to include a suggestion or two from you guys!
